UFC 264 - McGregor vs Poirier 3 Predictions & More

July 8, 2021

We are back for UFC 264 after a week off for the holiday. Hope everyone state side enjoyed their Independence Day but we are back to business with a very fun pay per view evening of fights. UFC 264 takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, meaning there will be fans in attendance. Of course. The main event features Conor McGregor, the biggest draw the sport has ever seen, so this will be an event on the tip of everyone’s tongue. His third installment against Dustin Poirier is likely to be the most watched of the three.

Both the pay per view portion and the prelims are offering very fun and well-made fights for the most part. There is unmatched star power draw at the top of the pay per view card with Conor McGregor. We also get a high end welterweight scrap in the co-main event. Stephen Thompson and Gilbert Burns will try to claim number one contender status for the title. Perpetual heel Greg Hardy will have fans tune in to root against him while Sean O’Malley will have fans tune in to root for him.

The televised prelims aren’t as touted, but there is one seriously fun fight to circle. Michel Pereira and Niko Price have a good chance of earning fight of the night honors, or at least one of the fighters earning a performance bonus. This fight perhaps would have been a better option for the pay per view portion than the women’s bantamweight fight. We also get one of a kind Ryan Hall on the prelims. He will try to Imanari Roll his way to a leg lock victory.

From a betting perspective, we will have four plays, all of which later on the card. These plays include the main event and co-main event. Let’s get to where the action is for UFC 264.
