Julia Avila vs Julija Stoliarenko Predictions

Fight is at 135 lbs and is +125 to end inside the distance.

The UFC decided to bring in Julija Stoliarenko leading up to her last fight after a pair of losses on the Ultimate Fighter back in 2018. Bluntly, I have to say, I am unsure why they brought her in to UFC Vegas 22. She had an extremely lopsided loss to Yana Kunitskaya in her return and now has been given an even more dangerous opponent in Julia Avila.

✅ Avila is a truly dangerous striker with a well rounded game. She is equally dangerous at range as she is in the clinch, and she will own this fight front to back, for as long as it lasts. Stoliarenko likely does not have any advantage in this fight, particularly in the small octagon at the Apex, and will be walked down, touched up and hurt for as long as she can survive.

✅ Now, Avila is coming off a loss to Sijara Eubanks, who is a completely different fighter than Stoliarenko. Eubanks is experienced in MMA and is very good with top control on the floor, which she used to grind out a decision win. Stoliarenko on the other hand, will have no answer for the attack of Avila and will have no path to neutralizing her.

✅ With the true danger and power that Avila brings, it is a silly value to see her ITD line sitting as high as +225. I suppose it is the nature of the women’s side of MMA to see higher ITD lines, but it is bordering on disrespectful of Avila in this instance, and that will be our point of attack.
