UFC Vegas 57 is a solid Fight Night card streaming live on ESPN+. The card takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The 12 fight card takes place on Saturday, June 25th, 2022. The first fighters will make the walk to the octagon at 7PM EST. You can stream the entirety of the card live on ESPN+.
The card features a main event in the lightweight division. There is no title on the line, but it is a high quality main event that is going to bring striking fireworks and a future contender. The co-main event is also going to bring a future contender as Shavkat Rakhmonov takes his next step forward against Neil Magny.

✅ Pick - Thiago Moises -250 over Christos Giagos
After climbing the ladder to a UFC main event, Thiago Moises is on a two fight losing streak. The promotion aims to remedy that, matching him up with a severe drop in level of opponent in Christos Giagos. Giagos is a wrestler that does not pose knock out threat and has a sketchy gas tank. Moises is the superior grappler and will be able to sweep or submit Giagos should he try to wrestle. Moises is the superior fighter overall and has a stylistic gem on his hands. -250 is a gift as this should be a five to one fight considering skill sets.
✅ Pick - Carlos Ulberg -115 over Tafon Nchukiw
Ulberg is the superior striker in what will play out as a striking fight. Ulberg learned the importance of pacing himself in his UFC debut. His gas tank failed after landing 146 significant strikes in just a round and a half in that fight. He followed that up with a more measured easy win. Now he will face Nchukwi in a favorable spot. Nchukwi was knocked out ugly just three months ago. We will see Nchukwi pressure and be made to pay by the better striker in Ulberg.
✅ Pick - Cody Durden +105 over JP Buys
JP Buys will be at a large striking disadvantage in this fight, as he will be in most fights. Buys has an untrustworthy chin and is completely reliant on wrestling and grappling. Durden is also a sound wrestler and has the jitz to get back to his feet if taken down. Durden will be the superior striker and will threaten knock out. He should be favored and we can treat the +105 price tag as something of a gift.
