NHL Weekly Betting Review (Aug. 17-23)

August 23, 2020

After a couple of successful weeks with a winning streak of 14 parlays, the last week was a bit more of a struggle. The parlays did not turn out as aspected but instead, the single picks did. Three parlays were lost while three single picks were successful to make it an even-steven kind of week.

Colorado Avalanche were a bit of a bogey team this week as they ruined two of the parlays when suddenly scoring 7 goals in both game 4 and game 5 of their series against the Arizona Coyotes. My prediction was Under 6.5 goals in both of these games as Colorado have been a low-scoring team for a long period of time but the Coyotes were totally eaten up.

Monday Night Parlay:

Game 1: Colorado Avalanche – Arizona Coyotes Total goals – Under 6.5
+
Game 2:  St. Louis Blues – Vancouver Canucks Total Goals – Under 6.5

Tuesday Night Single:

Washington Capitals – New York Islanders: Total Goals – Over 4.5

Wednesday Night Parlay:

Game 1: Columbus Blue Jackets – Tamba Bay Lightning Total goals – Over 3.5
+
Game 2:  Arizona Coyotes – Colorado Avalanche Total Goals – Under 6.5

Thursday Night Single:

🔄 Washington Capitals – New York Islanders: Total Goals – Over 4

Friday Night Single:

✅ St. Louis Blues – Vancouver Canucks: Vancouver – Over 2 goals

Saturday Night Single:

Dallas Stars – Colorado Avalanche: Colorado – Over 2.5 goals

Sunday Night Parlay:

Game 1: Boston Bruins – Tamba Bay Lightning Total goals – Under 6.5
+
Game 2:  Vancouver Canucks – Vegas Golden Knights Vancouver Over 1.5 goals
