14 winning parlays in a row, a new week, and a fresh parlay pick post is here for you. Game 4 is coming up and we are looking at Colorado Avalanche versus Arizona Coyotes and St. Louis Blues versus Vancouver Canucks, two games where I believe that less than seven goals will be scored.

Game 1: Colorado Avalanche – Arizona Coyotes

05.30 PM ET, Monday, August 17

Colorado Avalanche were defeated 4-2 in game 3 of the Western Conference first round. As game 4 of the best-of-seven series is coming up the Avalanche are up 2-1.

The Colorado team lost a quite fascinating encounter on Saturday even though they dominated most parts of the game except the fact that they only scored twice. The Arizona goalie Darcy Kuemper made 49 (!) saves and the Avalanche conceded four goals even though their opponent only had 23 shots on goal.

Arizona Coyotes defended extremely well and, of course, Darcy Kuemper was the big hero when they managed to win their first game of this series.

The Coyotes blocked 27 shots and Kuemper made 20 saves in the first period which is a new Coyotes postseason record. They did everything they could to maximize their effort in order to win against a highly skilled opponent and somehow it worked out.

Conclusions and betting play: The Coyotes proved that they are about to taken seriously and the Colorado players probably have probably had nightmares about Darcy Kuemper.

However, the Avalanche have been a very solid team during the entire season and judging from the first three games of this series they are the better team. They conceded 4 goals in game 3 which is are and I strongly doubt that Arizona will be able to score that many goals in game 4. The Avalanche have conceded 2 goals or less in 4 out of 6 games of the postseason. Game 1 of this series ended 3-0 and game 2 ended 3-2.

It was no surprise that the Coyotes were able to defend really well in the last game because they been doing so for a long time. 3, 4, 1, 3, 3, 3, 2 are the number of goals conceded during the postseason and they will, most likely, continue on this path and make the Avalanche work really hard to be able to score goals.

Beting play: Total Goals – Under 6.5 (60 Mins) @ -345

Game 2: St. Louis Blues – Vancouver Canucks

10.30 PM ET, Monday, August 17

Vancouver Canucks had won five games in a row before entering game 3 of the Western Conference first round against St. Louis Blues. But their winning streak ended as the Blues won 3-2 in overtime.

The Canucks are now up 2-1 in this best-of-seven series. The past two games have both been decided in overtime and it is difficult to predict the outcome as the teams are looking, more or less, equally strong at the moment.

St. Louis Blues are the defending Stanley Cup champions, they won the Western Conference but their postseason performances have not been as good as one could expect from this team. They were defeated in three straight games of the round-robin portion of the postseason and they were defeated in game 1 and game 2 of this playoff series.

But they managed to end their negative streak and at the same ending the Canucks’ winning streak and it is needless to say that it was an important win for the Blues.

Conclusion and betting tips: The Canucks have stepped up and they are playing on a higher level now when it really matters. The opposite saying goes for the Blues but maybe their first win of the postseason will make a big mental difference for the defending champions.

The Vancouver team has been playing really well in the attacking zone and they have been scoring a lot of goals so far. Key for the Blues is to neutralize their leading lines, which they managed to do in game 3. They conceded 9 goals in total in game 1 and 2 , but if they are able to be as disciplined as they were in the last game they will stand a good chance of even this series.

The Canucks are my favorites of winning this Western first round encounter but still, anything can happen. 7 and 6 goals were scored in the first two games while only 4 in game 3. My prediction is that game 4 will be quite like the last game, tight and a bit more tactical and not that many goals.
