NBA Against The Spread Pick for Sunday 11/10

November 9, 2019

Friday and Saturday Review

With no viable plays on theSaturday slate, we just need to catch up on the two plays from Friday night NBA. The first was a smashing success with no sweat whatsoever. The Raptors took an early large lead on the Pels that they never relinquished. They cruised to an easy cover despite losing Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka to injury in game. The Blazers lost at home as Damian Lillard was forced to be a one man team that got no help at all on the offensive end. The game was close but any home loss to the Nets is an ugly loss.

1-1  on Friday brings us to 14-6 on the season.

Sunday Betting Play

Denver Nuggets at Minnesota Timberwolves

It appears the oddsmakers are assigning too much weight on home court advantage in this one and the line was correctly bet up a point and a half immediately. Despite the movement, there is still value in it as the Nuggets are a superior team and the balance will prove too much for the TWolves. The TWolves also are dealing with injuries at the point guard position and there is far from a guarantee Jeff Teague or Shabazz Napier are healthy enough to be effective in this one. I don’t believe the TWolves have a go to 1 on 1 matchup where they have an advantage in this particular matchup in the starting five or off the bench. Take the Nuggets for the win and cover.
