Mike Francesa has struck a deal with BetRivers to broadcast a fortnightly podcast called "The Mike Francesa Show.".
Despite his retirement from WFAN, a New York radio station, Francesca still wants to take part in the sports media world.
Previously, Francesa retired in December 2017 after a two-decade run with Russo, only to return six months later before retiring for good in December 2019.
According to Barrett Sports Media, Francesa has signed to a multi-year arrangement with Rush Street Interactive to become a brand ambassador for BetRivers Sportsbook.
Furthermore, the 68-year-old will host a new weekly podcast called The Mike Francesa Podcast, launching its first episode on March 28 or March 29.
As part of the contract, the podcast will release two episodes per week. Each episode will be up to one hour long in audio-only format, while the audio format is expected to be set in the future.
Francesa's former WFAN producer Brian Monzo will be a regular contributor on this show, and so will BetRivers ambassador Bobby Valentine.
As sports betting has become more widely legalized in the United States, sportsbooks like Rivers, DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, and Caesars have poured money into the sports content sector to convert live sports and sports media viewers into gamblers.
