Drew Dober vs Brad Riddell Prediction

✅ This fight of the night candidate could very will be the one that steals the show. Brad Riddell will bring his high end striking skill set and a perfect 3-0 UFC record. While he was able to win all of those fights via decision, his grappling and wrestling was tested each and every time. In fact, he was taken down 14 times in those three fights. This trend is going to continue, and Riddell very well may need to find a finish, as this fight marks easily the most difficult of his career. Riddell is probably the more technically sound striker, but I believe he is giving up a power edge to Drew Dober. This might be a problem for him in the instances these two stand in the pocket and truly exchange. 

✅ Drew Dober has multiple paths to victory here, and I think he is quite the value on the betting line. I believe Dober more pop on his strikes and to be the greater threat for a KO. He simply thrives on exchanging in the pocket and will have a willing opponent to do so. Now, if I thought Riddell would try to stay on the outside and try to pick Dober apart for the entire fight, I would be far less bullish. That said, I don’t believe Riddell will change anything about his style and it will play into Dober’s hands. Also working for Dober is that if the striking begins to not go his way, he always has the option to level change and take the fight down. Dober is quite sound with controlling his opponents so he will be able to figure out his new plan of attack while dropping some ground and pound on the mat. 

✅ There are simply too many things that set up well for Dober in this matchup to ignore the small-ish -145 price tag. He is certainly live for a KO but the flat line covering a decision is absolutely the best point of attack.
