For traditional sports media AI content has already started to take a big role but content still needs a human final touch to be 100% correct. An area where AI gets even more interesting is from the gambler point of view. 

Sports odds are ultimately based on stats and trends. With AI as your guide you would be able to take your stats approach to a whole new level. A human might be able to take X amounts of angles into consideration when making your betting analysis. AI would be able to take that X and multiply with 100 maybe 1000 and build an analysis on that and even better, AI could do it in real time. 

Sportsbooks will on the other hand have access to the same or potentially even better AI systems. Either way AI is very interesting in almost every single aspect of sports betting.
