UFC Vegas 12 – Hall vs Silva Review
November 3, 2020
We had three plays after losing the initial variation of the Kevin Holland fight for the UFC Vegas 12, and it did not disappoint from a viewing perspective. Our plays went 2-1 with a win on one of our plus figure plays for a profitable card.
✅ Win – Uriah Hall ITD +170
Hall did not look world beating in this fight, luckily he only had to beat Anderson Silva. That he did, as he got the knockdown and nearly secured a finish late in round three. He picked up where he left off and got the job done with a round four KO to end the career of Silva and cash our +170 ITD play.
❌ Loss – Andre FIli +130
This was a disappointing loss as FIli seemed somewhat caught off guard by Mitchell wrestling, or thought he could out grapple him in the first round. He made adjustments, came back and won the second round but then allowed the first round outcome to take over once again in the third round. I believe Fili would have fared better if he weren’t eager to pit his grappling against Mitchell’s, but what’s done is done. Kudos to Mitchell on doing what he needed to do.
✅ Win – Hardy ITD -145
This outcome had the feel of a matter of time while watching the fight. That time came when Hardy dropped and finished Greene just over a minute into the second round and Hardy declared himself ready for the step up in the division.
The 2-1 night was good for 1.7 units of profit. This brings us to 60-49 on the year for +36.35 units of profit.
