$1,000 First Bet on Caesars
We will have a total of four bets for UFC London. All four of them are eligible for the promo above from Caesars or the promo code below form BetMGM. Taking advantage of both offers will net you completely risk free bets for up to $2500.
✅ Pick - Chris Curtis -105 over Jack Hermansson
Chris Curtis fills in for Jack Hermansson's originally scheduled opponent, Darren Till. Curtis fought just last month, notching a very impressive decision win over Rodolfo Vieira. Curtis stuffed 20 takedown attempts in that fight, and the exact same game plan will serve him well in this fight. He will be the superior striker to Hermansson. Additionally Hermansson will pressure per usual, and that will walk him right onto sharp and powerful strikes from Curtis throughout. Assuming this fight remains upright, it will be something of an easy win for the ascending Curtis.
✅ Pick - Alexander Gustafsson +170 over Nikita Krylov
Alexander Gustafsson returns to light heavyweight after a brief stint at heavyweight and then a layoff. He draws a favorable matchup with Nikita Krylov at a very favorable price. Gustafsson will be the better striker, and his boxing will be the key in the standup. These fighters are about even as both wrestlers and grapplers, but Gustafsson does have two edges in the grappling. He is far better at controlling and he additionally is not mistake prone as Krylov has been in the past.
✅ Pick - Volkan Oezdemir -165 over Paul Craig
Volkan Oezdemir continues to see his level of competition drop after multiple losses at the top of the division. He now draws Paul Craig who has been wildly reliant on his guard on the mat in MMA. Frankly, the way Craig has won in the past will not work against the top of the division. Oezdemir will be the absolutely superior striker in every aspect in this matchup. He will also be the better wrestler, particularly defensively. The only way Craig gets this fight to the mat where he needs it, would be by pulling guard. Even that is unlikely to be a successful approach for him, and we likely see Oezdemir cruise to a comfortable win.
✅ Pick - Jai Herbert ITD -120 over Kyle Nelson
This is an incredibly favorable matchup for Jai Herbert. Kyle Nelson has just one path to victory, and that would be an early flash KO. Herbert is superior in every facet of MMA and this sets up to be a spectacular fight for him. The only knock on Herbert is he has been dropped and finished in the past, but that was certainly against a much higher level of competition. There is a second wager in this fight that is quite attractive, and that is the fight ending inside the distance. That outcome sits at -270, but these are not fighters that go to the judges scorecards. Each have had four UFC fights and none have gone the distance.
