Soccer Soccer Soccer!!!

With no NBA, MLB, XFL, or NHL there is at least one sport that is back in full action, soccer. The top 4 leagues in the world, La Liga, Serie A, EPL, and Bundesliga are all offering full fixtures on top European soccer.

This coming week we have got the restart of the English Premier League. The title race is more or less already settled with a 25 points lead by, Liverpool, the season superiors. Their goal must be to pass the 100 points mark, which has only been done once by Man City in the 2017-2018 season.

The highlights of the week are the Merseyside derby between Everton and Liverpool, Man City vs Arsenal and Spurs vs The Red Devils.

We have highlighted the games where we see some value in the odds.

Barcelona or Real Madrid have won 14 out of the 15 last La Liga titles (Atletico Madrid won season 2013-2014) and the 2019-2020 season will most likely be no exception. Barcelona are current topping the league, one point ahead Los Galacticos. Rumours around a potential Ronaldo comeback to Madrid have been circulating and a return of the Portuguese could be what Real are missing to snatch their first La Liga win in 4 years.

This wee we have a handful of great matchups. Real Madrid vs Valencia, Sevilla vs Barcelona (very important game for both teams as Sevilla can get in touch with the top 2 teams in case they win and Barcelona could lose the top position to Real Madrid if they lose).

Few games this week in Serie A. Inter vs Samp is an interesting game. Inter needs a win to get closer to the top duo, Juve and Lazio and La Samp desperately needs a point or three to avoid a potential relegation. Inter started the season in style but were struggling before the break with two straight losses. We bet the draw on this game.

It’s starting to feel like the Bundesliga has been up and running forever and this week we move into the 7th fixture since the restart of the German soccer season. Bayern Munich has shown impressive form with 6 straight wins and against a weak Werder Bremen they are aiming for a 7th straight win. Dortmund (2nd in the league) should not have a problem at home against Mainz but odds on both Bayern and Dortmund does not give a good betting value.

Wolfsburg have shown great away form and we go for the X and/or 2 in this game.
