Game 3 of the Western Conference Final between Vegas Golden Knights and Dallas Stars is about to get decided tonight and I rely on the Golden Knights to continue doing what they have done for the past four periods of this series. They evened the series 1-1 after winning 3-0 on Tuesday and they are the slightly better team in this Stanley Cup semifinal. All predictions on the two Conference Finals have been successful so far and hopefully, we will hang on that winning streak.

Vegas Golden Knights evened the series 1-1 after defeating the Dallas Stars 3-0 in game 2 of the Western Conference Final on Tuesday. Robin Lehner was back in the line-up after being rested in game 1 and he stopped all 24 shots to make it a shutout win. The Golden Knights were unable to score in game 1 as they were defeated 1-0 and now it was the opposite way around. Right now it seems that we are about to look forward to a long and tight series.

Dallas Stars were unable to reach the level of performance from game 1 and at the same time the Golden Knights stepped up. The Stars are the underdogs of this series and in game 2 Vegas proved why. Dallas were never really close in this game, especially the second period was tough as all three goals were scored in that phase of the game.

Conclusions and betting play: The Golden Knights responded very well on their less impressive performance in game 1 as they did not give their opponent much of a chance in game 2. But tonight is a new game and it will, most likely, be a very tight one.

Even though the Golden Knights only conceded one goal in game 1 the return of their number one goalkeeper Robin Lehner seemed to make an important impact. This was Lehner’s second straight shutout as well as his 4th in the past 7 games. His presence on the ice makes an important difference and it is obvious that the entire team puts a lot of trust in his abilities.

The Stars were the better side in game 1 and the Golden Knights dominated game 2. The outcome of game 3 is not that easy to predict but to me, it is quite clear that Vegas possess a slightly higher level and if they reach up to that level – as they have been doing in most games of this postseason – they will win.
