NHL EXPERT PICK: Oilers vs Devils 11/8
November 7, 2019

Oilers to win at -162
Edmonton has lost its form in the last few games with two straight losses. However, they are in well deserved second place in their conference. They have won five out of eight home games but now have three consecutive losses. Draisaitl leads the team’s internal points with 29, giving him and second place in the overall points league. McDavid is as usual up there and stands at 26 points. New arrival for the season Neal has been scoring goal after goal and is now up to eleven now. The Oilers are looking to bounce back and find home game win and it’s the perfect timing for it. The Devils has had an intensive game schedule.
The NJ Devils lost their last game 5-2 to Calgary. The last game result was completely fair. They have only taken four points in six away games so far and only scored eleven goals in those games. They belong to the bottom half of the table. Pre-season our expectations were high but performance has been poor. Gusev came from the Russian league and it’s a player we like. However, there are many who have to raise themselves in order to start picking victories.
We believe Edmonton has clearly shown more so far and considering the home plan. We pick the Oilers for this game.
