UFC Vegas 60 Picks & Promo

UFC Vegas 60 is a Fight Night card originating from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 14 fight card is scheduled for Saturday September 17th, 2022. The first fighters will make the walk to the smaller octagon at 4PM EST. We are back at the Apex, so very few fans will be in attendance. This is not a televised event. The entirety of the card streams on ESPN+.
UFC Vegas 60 is quite a quality Fight Night. The main event between Cory Sandhagen and Song Yadong is quite a high end at bantamweight. The remainder of the card features a high volume of well-made fights as well.

This banger of a co-main event features two fighters on successful runs. Chidi Njokuani is a powerful striker that has notched three knockouts in three tries under the UFC banner. The most recent two have come in the very first round. He will be the more threatening fighter in the stand up and clinch. Gregory Rodrigues has power in his own right, but he is not on the level of striking with Njokuani. He is live for a knockout but other than that he will lose the stand up portion of this fight. Where Rodrigues excels is on the mat, as a truly high end black belt. No matter where this fight takes place, one fighter will be threatening finish throughout.
✅ Pick - Rodrigo Nascimento +160 over Tanner Boser
Tanner Boser has had mixed results in the UFC. Where he has struggled of late is in being taken down and controlled on the mat. That has happened against better wrestlers, but none at the level of grappler of Rodrigo Nascimento. If we see the Boser takedown defense get shaky at all, he will lose those rounds on the mat, if he is not finished. This fight is much closer on the feet than on the mat. Boser is the better striker, particularly with his leg kicks, but the gap is not truly massive. Nascimento is a high value underdog with a clear path to victory, and should get three full rounds if he does not find a finish first.
✅ Pick - Joe Pyfer ITD -225 over Alen Amedovski
Joe Pyfer makes his debut after a first round KO on DWCS. He is a solid mover and striker, with a complete skill set. He is probably Alen Amedovski's most difficult opponent to date. That is music to our ears as we are three for three betting against Amedovski on the UFC. The most recent two have come very early in the firt round on ITD bets. We are going to keep that train rolling and cash on a bet against Amedovski one last time before he gets his walking papers.
