Sean Brady -210 vs Jake Matthews

Fight is at 170 lbs and is +140 to end inside the distance.

Betting Play: Brady -210

Jake Matthews is a vet that has come through as an underdog before, but I will cut any suspense and say flat out that this will not be one of those times.

While Sean Brady and Jake Matthews have similarities to their games, Brady is simply better in every area of MMA. Neither fighter is an exceptional striker, but Brady is certainly better and will win in both volume and will land the more damaging shots.

Brady is the better wrestler and will be the fighter dictating if and when the fight hits the mat, and I do expect it to at some point. Brady has taken down each of his UFC opponents multiple times and has not been taken down himself. That is highly likely to be a trend that continues.

On the floor, Brady is a high level BJJ black belt, and while Matthews is certainly no slouch in that area, the advantage on the floor will be another going to the Brady side.

The -210 betting line feels quite comfortable in this one as it is difficult to envision the paths to victory for Matthews, as he really does not have an advantage to press.

✅ It may not be the most exciting fight of the night, but it should be a comfortable win for Brady, and he will be our lone favorite bet on the night.

Betting Play: Brady -210
