Vancouver comes from a 1-5 loss at home to Anaheim. Demko played horribly in that game and conceived 5 goals from 28 shorts. With those stats, you don’t win any matches. Markström should be back for tonight’s game and we should expect a higher save percentage in tonight’s game. Vancouver has been very strong at home this season with a 19-10 home record and will look to bounce back immediately the 1-5 loss against the Mighty Ducks.
Boeser is still injured which is obviously a huge loss in offensive power but with Petterson, TJ Miller and Horvat there is enough firepower to break down any defense in the league. Other players that are out are Graovac, Fantenberg, and Leivo.
Minnesota has two straight losses, San Jose and NY Rangers. Their on the road result have not been great with a 10-17 record so far this season.
Staal, Zucarello, and Parise have been the shining stars for the Wild but many of the top players have not been delivering on the level one could expect from them.

Washington Capitals at Vegas Golden Knights

The Capitals season so far has been fantastic. Their on the road record is the best of all teams and the numbers speak for themselves. 21-7-1 away stats compared to home stats 16-9-4 i.e Washington is winning even more matches on the road. Their against the spread stats are even more impressive 20-9 so far on the season when playing on the road.
Slightly negative trend in the last couple of weeks with a 3-5-0 in their last 8 matches but this should only be considered as a small bump in the road. The Capitals have already beaten the Golden Knights 5-2 last year in November.
The Golden Knights have been very inconsistent throughout the season but the start of 2020 have been positive with a 6-3-2 record. Vegas are 16-10-4 at home and has won their last two matches on home ground. We doubt that they will take their 3rd consecutive win over Washington which is the stronger team.
