NHL BETTING PICK: Red Wings vs Sabres October 25
October 24, 2019
Sabres to win at -120
Theis moving on and tonight Detroit is taking on Buffalo, a team that has impressed so far.
Detroit is completely under the ice so far with six straight losses. Most recently, it was a 5-2 loss to Ottawa where the home team took a long-awaited victory which led to a lost bet as we predicted Red Wings to come out on top of this game.
Detroit has scored 27 goals in the last six games but in five of those six games, they have let in five or more goals. Too many players are underperforming at the moment. Mantha and Bertuzzi are of the few players who are doing well. Glendening does not seem to come into play for this game which is also a set back for the Red Wings.
Buffalo lost to Rangers 6-2 despite winning the shots 24-33 but had a drift of three straight win previously to the Rangers game. Buffalo tops the Eastern conference together with Washington, but with one game less played. Buffalos offensive play have looked great so far and against a Detroit with poor defensive skills the Sabres should be able to score enough goals to pick up a win in this game.
A home team completely under the ice is hosted by a good playing Buffalo, and we think the guests have the best chance of victory in this game.
