Brooklyn Nets at Cleveland Cavaliers

We know the Nets have limitations without Kyrie Irving, and we already fired a bullet and missed at this situation, but we are coming right back to it. The Nets are on the back half of a road back to back which isn’t a killer in and of itself, but it is also their third game in four days. The Cavs have quietly had a difficult portion of their schedule to this point. They’ve played just one home game against the dregs of the Eastern Conference (a win), and this game kicks off a five game home stand. In those five games, they play four Eastern conference teams that are .500 or worse and should be in some favorable covering spots, including tonight. Note Kevin Love is considered questionable for this one but I do expect him to play. If he is forced out it is a withdraw the bets spot and move on to the next one.

The Timberwolves had an offensive dud, failing to crack 100 points and losing by 2 as a 6 point favorite against a Suns team missing their starting point guard and top two centers. Karl Anthony Towns simply didn’t get enough help in this one.

The Raptors were a pretty ugly beat. They were laying 7 and up 12 with 1:43 left in the game. From that point forward they allowed the Hawks to shoot 6 of 7 including 4 of 4 from three point range and ultimately only won by three points. Just a horrific job closing in a game they had in hand.

0-2 brings us to 21-15 on the season.
